The Boxer Rebellion's
8 Years after the band played Glastonbury New Bands tent, they ended their 2011 tour in Brussels. Right from the start they draw the listener deep into their music, truly a band to keep your ears open for.

Tim Kasher opening for Mariachi El Bronx @Trix Club
Tim Kasher, frontman of 2 Indie-Rock groups, has also a solo thing going, released his "Bigamy" EP last September in Europe.
Wow wow wow.. wait!
I see you thinking.. an indie-rock front, solo projects.... opening a mariachi show?
Whats up with that??
Well, I don't know either, hosestly.
It feels abit like Tim was Hitchhiking towards Europe to promote his EP and Matt (The Bronx) gave him a ride on the tourbus.
However it happened, i'm glad it did.
Tim brings a great intimite show, only thing missing is a bonfire. With his down-to-earth attitude and witty lyrics it's not hard to understand why he's a great opening act, for just about any kind of music.

Sparrow Falls, een jonge Maastrichtse Rockband kwam op 17dec afgezakt naar het Belgische Lille.
Ik zeg "rock" maar er zitten duidelijk invloeden in uit de punk, hardrock, folk, hardcore, en als je wil zelfs country. Klinkt allemaal misschien als een vreemd mengsel. Maar een goede cocktail is niet slecht, en zo is ook deze zeer geslaagd.

Mariachi El Bronx @Trix
Who doesn't know 'The Bronx'? Hardcore Punk band, Los Angeles California... only 130mi from the Mexican border..
Why do I find this worth mentioning? Well, in 2007 The Bronx came up with the idea of playing Mariachi music. And guess what, they're good at it: numerous venues are sold out across europe for their tour.
Yes, even at aprox 5700mi from Mexico, a punk rock band can make name playing Mariachi!
If you wonder why, you should see a show: tons of energy, dynamics, interaction with the audience. Mariachi El Bronx has what it takes to turn a gig into a show.
They'll drag you in, you want it or not, and you'll love it.
